"Always Be Knolling" Board
This was for my Design for Motion class. We had to create a self portrait using the concept/method of knolling. Knolling is the process of arranging like objects in parallel or 90 degree angles as a method of organization (wikipedia :) ).I thought of how I would actually draw a self portrait. I would probably look in a mirror. Well what if the mirror was cracked/shattered. My image would be refracted differently in each shard of the mirror. I thought of art that already uses this process and Cubism came to mind. So I took the refraction idea and ran with it. I shot items that I owned that represented different hobbies and likes of mine. I edited the photos and sliced them up. I may have had too much fun.
