Pan's Labyrinth titles
The idea was to combine a product with an artistic movement. I am a huge fan of Pan's Labyrinth and decided to do an opening title sequence in the style of art nouveau. I felt the art nouveau would add to the fantastical elements and overall style of the movie. I created vector graphics of iconic characters and objects similar to the style of art nouveau prints.
Oogie Boogie Typography
This is pretty self explanatory, kinetic typography matched up with audio. Oogie Boogie is one of my favorite character's from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Since he is the Boogie Man I thought it would be appropriate to have the text emerge from a closet in a bedroom environment. Oogie Boogie's scene in the movie is very colorful and energetic so I incorporated those elements into my piece.
